Our Policy/Terms and Conditions
Each cake is made to order, therefore special time and attention is given to each and every cake to ensure the best creative process. Therefore we ask that you attempt to reserve your custom cake order as soon as you are aware of the event date. Should you need your cake sooner, please do not hesitate to contact us as we do have a few bookings available from time to time.

We require a 50% deposit on all orders or more in order to book your date. Payment must be made in advance before any goods are prepared or dispatched. In all circumstances we require payment before accepting an order. The balance is to be paid two weeks prior to the date of your wedding or before the delivery day of any other event if you are paying online. In the event of a cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable due to time and work already spent on your order, materials purchased, and loss of potential work by excluding other clients and orders to work on your custom order. Please be considerate when cancelling an order.
We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer financial details with any 3rd parties.
Complaints are very rare and so we take them very seriously. Some complaints may require further investigation and an immediate refund may not always be possible. No claims are accepted where a cake has been eaten including only partially eaten, before the claim has been made and discussed with Elite Cakes Boutique and photographic evidence provided, even if the time of day or day of week, prevents this discussion taking place. You accept that even if your cake is only partially or completely eaten whilst in your possession, then without written consent from us, you consent that you have accepted it ‘as is’, and have considered it to have been acceptable to you. If you state your request to seek a full or partial refund, we reserve the right to ask you to return the cake, in its entirety, at the point that you notify us, and provide evidence.
Photographic evidence may be required prior to using your cake.
The maximum refund we offer is the value of the cake excluding delivery. Further compensation is not available.
Variations may occur in both design and specification as we constantly improve our products. Please note pictures are for general illustration only and the product may vary from that shown.You accept that our handmade cake, is a representative of the discussions and images that we may have discussed and that for reasons of the avoidance of any infringements in copyrights or patents Elite Cakes Boutique may have to conceptually change visual designs to ones which avoid such potential infringements and you accept that no exact likeness to any image provided is being agreed to.
You accept that we make every available endeavor to ensure that your cake arrives in perfect condition. In the unlikely event that the cake appears to have been damaged during transit, you must notify us immediately, and provide photographic evidence. Any replacement products, refunds or compensation will be considered, and may be granted at our sole and absolute discretion and only in the event that the cake is damaged beyond reasonable use. We will require evidence of any damage, which must be received by us before we consider any suggestion of recompense. This evidence may be in the form of photographs, or by returning the goods to us and must include the original packaging.
All our cakes are delivered boxed. We do deliver on Saturdays and Sundays. All cakes should be stored in a cool dark place on a flat sturdy surface. Never put cakes in the fridge other than fresh dairy cream cakes.
We do not currently make gluten or dairy free cakes.
